For a traveler like me proximity to the station is important. This hotel is perfectly located. Basically just outside the station. I read comments by other guests who did not like the area / people outside the hotel. Apart from the fact that all station neighbourhoods are busy places with lots of people coming and going, the hotel surroundings are not “strange”. One needs to be alert as always when travelling, but that’s all. The hotel staff are kind and helpful. The hotel common areas and the room were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. I am not into hot cooked breakfasts, but there were also cooked option (for people who commented on that). The variety of offerings was excellent. The room was of good size (high ceilings, too!!!) and it had all things I needed, including two desks (I needed to do some work), power points, and at least one (I don’t remember if 2) USB ports next to the bed. In short, this was a great stay, and next time I am back in Padua I will definitely book here again, if available.

Stayed 11 days here. Breakfast in the morning until 10am was great way to start the day. Staff always asked if we wanted cappuccino, espresso, macchiato and offered hot chocolate to my daughter. Always had fresh fruit. Kiwis, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe. Delicious warmed croissants. Chocolate, creme, and apricot jam. Tasty meats and cheeses. Special cake of the day. Very pleasant, lovely experience. Front desk had helpful recommendations on everything we were looking for. Try Pizzeria La Pavana nearby! Bus station to Marco Polo airport is easily walkable and a good way to get to and from the airport from the hotel. Very glad to have stayed here.

The location was perfect as we were travelling by train to Padova so we could walk to/from the station easily. There are plenty of trams and busses nearby for travel into the centre of the old city. We were also a short walk from a major new conference facility as well. I love the art deco style of the hotel which is largely preserved. Breakfast was really excellent. A superb buffet that was a pleasure to look at! We needed more pillows, which were promptly supplied on request. WiFi worked well. The room was large (as was the en-suite bathroom) and the quiet air-con maintained the room at a steady temperature despite the heatwave outside!

The location is excellent, just cross street from the train station, very convenient for traveling by train. The tram stop is 2-minute walk from the hotel that goes directly to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us all about the city and gave us public transportation information. When we were about to leave the hotel for sightseeing, it was raining, we were talking to ourselves that we should go back to the room to take umbrella, the staff immediately went to the boom behind the reception desk to take two nice umbrellas, "hey, take these." It was heart warming. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The best thing about this hotel is the convenient location, if you don’t have a car this place is the best to arrive there from the airport and to travel from there to other cities and also within Padova. I saw some comments about not safe and that’s ridiculous yes there are African immigrants who congregate nearby but they don’t bother anyone. The room was typical size for Italy meaning nothing too large but it’s was very comfortable and clean. The staff is very nice. The breakfast was very nice though we just had it once because with jet lag we were not that hungry in the am. If I go back to Padova I will stay here for sure. Good value
